I heard whisperings the other day that the All Wales Convention in its consideration of the future governance of Wales was taking into account the current economic climate and that the report that comes back could very well have found an appetite amongst the people of Wales for more powers at this end of the M4...but not in the midst of a recession.
If this is the case then surely the coalition would rethink holding a referendum. One then has to ask what might Plaid Cymru do in that situation.
One of the proviso's of the One Wales agreement was that there would be referendum before 2011...could Plaid afford another such climbdown in the wake of the language LCO and the top-up fees (and such a public climbdown at that?)
Just some food for thought...

whats wrong with Plaid's position on the welsh language LCO?
Plaid are screwed. One Wales has delivered bugger all, Plaid's core supporters have been sold down the river. Y Byd, top-up fees, sod all done on the affordable housing front. Plaid will rightly get the electoral kicking it desereves next time round.
